Press down on the D-Pad to have your wingmen follow you, and when you get in range of the first group of transports, press right on the D-pad to target the transports and have your wingmen attack them. Its a completely different/stand alone sim from IL-2: 1946, but its pretty cool so far. Anyway, dont know if yall have been keeping up with the latest IL-2 release, Battle of Stalingrad. Enemy transport planes will appear from the South and will head towards the airfield at the North. I dont whether to post this in this sub-forum, or in the other games sub-forum.
Once you've unlocked Realistic or Simulator, start the Hornet's Nest.

Realistic and Simulator difficulty can be unlocked by playing through the tutorials. The best way to beat this mission is to play it on Realistic or Simulator difficulty: Arcade throws too many enemies at you and your wingmen are useless. If even one plane makes it through, you lose. In Hornet's Nest you have to shoot down a bunch of transport planes before they reach an airfield. This sounds like a pretty straightforward achievement since it's part of the campaign and you'd get it just by playing through the game normally, the last mission ("Hornet's Nest") is pretty difficult.
